Stone, vegetation and wood debris covers the path leaving buggies/wheelchairs unable to pass

Thank you for contacting Northamptonshire Highways. Following the partial failure of the timber criblock retaining walls adjacent to Bob Whitworth Way, and the subsequent structural inspection Northamptonshire Highways have had to close the road for safety reasons. Northamptonshire County Council have commissioned Northamptonshire Highways to undertake further investigations into the cause and determine the best course of action to remedy the situation. At present we cannot give definitive timescales as to how long the road will be closed for whilst we seek an appropriate solution and understand why the retaining walls have failed prematurely.

When will this be sorted? Victoria Roast is not suitable for all of the school traffic.
