Right filter not coming on
Reported in the Request Timing Review category anonymously at 18:35, Fri 6 September 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 6 minutes later. ref: 1758828.
Whilst approaching the traffic lights at Eskdaill And Victoria streets I was in the right hand lane to turn right into Eskdaill and when the lights turned green I was waiting for a gap to turn when imagine my horror when the lights went back to red WITHOUT the right turn green filter coming on and I was stuck in the middle of the road . What is happening, this is horrendous and I have now noticed it’s a regular occurrence . Surely there is something badly amiss here ?

Just the other day a car in front of me had crossed the line to turn right but due to oncoming traffic coming through right up to the last second and the right filter not operating he was stranded and had to reverse. Luckily I had spotted the potential problem as I am aware if the non performing right filter and had not travelled up behind him and he had space to reverse. Please fix these lights so filter works all the time as it’s dangerous !
