Tempory Road sign blocking safe view of traffic.
Reported in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category anonymously at 14:23, Mon 9 September 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1761343.
When waiting at the top of Whites Lane to turn right onto the A428 in the direction of town there is a temporary road sign on the side of the A428 . It is used to sign roadworks on the A428 but is only uncovered at night. However its position is such that when waiting to cross it blanks off sight of vehicles coming off the sandy lane roundabout. It is thus a serious hazard to road users who need to understand if vehicles are coming from the roundabout down the A428 or if they are going into Sandy Lane where they are no concern
