Thank you for your enquiry concerning Upper George Street. Our area team carries out safety inspections, and if defects meet intervention, works are instructed and carried out by them accordingly, in accordance with Northamptonshire County Council’s policy. Your street was not selected in the last round of micro-asphalt work carried out as it was felt at the time, it was not suitable for micro-asphalt treatment which we undertook in other streets on the estate. Upper George Street requires far more patching / prep work in advance of this particular process. Upper George Street still sits amongst our medium term priorities, and will be ranked along with thousands of other sites throughout the county for similar treatment. In the meantime it will continue to be inspected, and defects rectified by our area team.
