No bus shelter - safety hazard
Reported in the Shelter Damaged category anonymously at 14:08, Fri 13 September 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 2 minutes later. ref: 1766394.
There is a bus stop that is used by employees at RS components. There is no shelter at the bus stop. When the weather is bad, the employees stand under the smoking shelter on the opposites side of the road, and when they see the bus they rush across the road to stop it. This is a welfar issue, as their only other option is to get soaking wet. It is also a safety hazard as they are rushing for the bus across a potentially busy road around peak times in bad weather Would it be possible to get a bus shelter built?

Very useful suggestion. As a frequent bus user completely agree that a bus shelter is required in this place.

System update for open reports that should have been closed but remain open. The County Council do not install their own shelters, however we will note this request in case third party funding becomes available. You may also look to approach Corby Borough Council, who own most of the shelters in the town.
