There is a long ridge along the middle of the left hand carriageway driving towards Radstone

I have fallen off of my bike here today. The ridge in the middle of the left hand carriageway extends for 200 yards in 2 separate stretches. The picture of the twig shows how big the ridge is (circa an inch). As a result of the shocking conditions cars tend to drive on the opposite side of the road where possible. I was cycling on the left side of the ridge and pulled out to pass a car that had stopped and my wheel got trapped in this ridge. Luckily I was wearing a helmet and there was not a car driving in the other direction as I ended up falling into the opposite carriageway.
Just out of interest the car that I was going to pass had stopped as it had a blown tyre which the driver indicated had been caused by the ridge.
This stretch of road has always been a very busy stretch in Brackley, serving the St Peters Park and Poets Estates. With the new houses recently built the volume of traffic has increased hugely. This road needs to be repaired and soon.
