Very dangerous road conditions

The stretch of road from halse to greatworth is in a very dangerous and poor condition there are numerous potholes and the road edge is breaking up causing vehicles to cross into opposing traffic this happens on bends and along straights the road has been in this condition for many many months now and it appears no work has been done Work on cockley road has been done which is ideal this road now needs urgent attention to bring it up to an acceptable standard

  • Works order has already been raised and will be completed within 28 days. Thank you for your enquiry.

  • This piece of work still needs to be undertaken. The road is still not at an acceptable level with the amount of pot holes and crumbling road for the constant traffic using it. The works and large lorries that came along have further deteriorated the road.

  • The previously patched corner holes are again deteriorating causing yet again cars to swerve into the on-coming traffic around the blind corners. The rest of the surface is still in a very poor condition 5 months later.
