Lime Avenue Trees in urgent need of pollarding

Please could you visit Lime Avenue in Long Buckby, the trees along this road are in desperate need of attention. The branches are very low hanging and dangerous and the street lights are totally obscured. Please could you arrange for pollarding to take place.

  • There has been an incident now where a lady has slipped and is awaiting an ambulance. She has advised me that this is due to the trees not receiving any attention.

  • Following inspection by tree surgeon no defects found. No safety issues for highway users. Trees will not be scheduled for pollarding for another two years at least. Trees require a canopy to ensure health of tree.
