Excessive fruit falling from tree causing slippery/dangerous surfaces

Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 11:52, Sunday 22 September 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 3 minutes later. ref: 1776260.

For many years we have reported this tree concerned about the amount of fruit which falls year in year out. Despite clearing our driveway, footpath & roads daily we are still overrun by the amount of debris it leaves. In the 14 years we have lived here the tree height has never been tendered too and we feel it needs to be trimmed this may then stop the amount of fruit falling and damaging our cars, driveway, footpath & road. Occasionally over the years a few lower branches (head height) have been trimmed but we are concerned about the height particularly this year. As mentioned we have reported this tree for many years and would appreciate something being done about it. We are also concerned that the debris of fruit is now blocking our drain thus putting us at risk of flooding again. The area is very slippery and also causes an influx of wasps & ants to the area. We would really appreciate someone assessing the area, removing the waste and trimming the tree down. Thank you.
