The severely blocked drain is located directly outside The Old Post House (Northampton). The Old Post House is located opposite The Green, which is where Resthaven Road and Sunnyside meet, and The Green itself is a triangular shaped piece of grass in the middle of the roads. If you were coming down Resthaven Road heading towards Sunnyside, you would pass The Green on a left bend and the property is on that left bend where Resthaven Road meets/becomes Sunnyside by The Green. The Old Post House is on opposite side of road to where pin pointer has been dropped. The drain outside The Old Post House is severely blocked causing major flooding of the road, the drain is completely submerged in water and the water levels are up to the top of the kerb. The Old Post House front door goes onto the footpath and the drain is 2-3ft from The Old Post House front door. When cars drive past, due to the high levels of water going up to the top of the kerb, they create a wave (force of water) that is thrown heavily onto the front windows and front door of the property. This issue with the heavy rainfall is likely to start causing flooding of The Old Post House.
