Footpath and driveway impeded
Reported in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 12:35, Thu 26 September 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 5 minutes later. ref: 1781701.
The trees that are on a narrow strip of highways land are breaking and overhanging the drive and Lower Leys public footpath, and hang very low when it rains. The footpath is used by villagers and schoolchildren. Its dangerous to use the dark footpath especial in the early dark evenings it’s now used by druggies and drunks It’s difficult to get on and off the drive without damaging the car We heard the trees were going to be removed at the end of the nesting season.
We get complaints all the time from people who use the footpath and think we own the land the trees are on
