I live in Alsace Park, Duston & have to travel on Sandy Lane to the dual carriageway most days. The condition of the majority of the road is awful with huge potholes. This has been repaired as you come off the Kislingbury roundabout but only for the first few feet! This week I was travelling down the Sandy Lane & as it was quite busy it was too dangerous for me to dodge the huge potholes & as a result I have scraped one of my alloy wheels on my BRAND NEW car that I’ve only had for a few weeks (photos attached). I have enquired about getting it repaired & as they are diamond cut this can’t be repaired & I will have to replace my alloy at a cost of £500!! I would like to know if there’s a procedure where I can be refunded for this due to the road conditions being so poor?
