Crater on carriageway
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 19:52, Tue 1 October 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 3 minutes later. ref: 1788762.
There is now a huge pothole that is more of a crater going towards berrywood road near one of the farm entrances. It started as a pothole, which apparently was assessed and was going to be left for 12 months. It's now really bad and the road is breaking up. This is not the only place on the road where this is starting to happen. Please attend it. I had to stop for oncoming traffic to drive around it earlier today
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

This whole section of road from the A45 to Berrywood is like a 3rd world track, as is the A428 into Harlestone. I no longer driver my sports car along here especially at night. The joke is you say the holes are repaired but they are done so badly and the road is now so rough. Many sections of roads in Northamptonshire need completely relaying from foundations upwards as they are simply worn out. You are making people move to SUVs which isn’t helping the Govts target for CO2. We need much more joined up thinking in this country.
