Fir tree hedge obstructing footway

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 6 minutes later. ref: 1789544.
The fir tree hedge which used to be the Bronnely boundary is now hanging over the footway, blocking up to 70% of the footway. Possibly still maintained by the housing developer?

Thank you for your enquiry. The site has been visited and an inspection has identified that the vegetation is privately owned. A letter has been sent to the landowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back within 14 days. A re-visit will be undertaken within the next 14 days to ensure this work has been carried out. If the landowner fails to satisfactory complete this work then it will be passed to the Regulations team to start enforcement proceedings.
