Health and Safety issue with children crossing the road
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 12:30, Wed 2 October 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1789640.
School children from Wollaston School are dropped off at the bus stop in EBR opposite Glenfield Drive each afternoon. The overgrowth of vegetation from the trees is now blocking their view when crossing the road and there is genuine concern that a child may be involved in an accident. This has been raised by the children themselves. Can something please be done as a matter of urgency. We have been asking for the trees to be cut back for many, many years but this remedial work is required asap.
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.
