Timing review for pedestrian crossing

Reported in the Request Timing Review category by Christiaan de Haes at 16:45, Fri 4 October 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1792961.

This pedestrian crossing is used by lots of young people just before school in the morning (say 8-9am) and after school (say 3-4pm). I feel it is dangerous too keep these young people waiting for a long time on their way to/from school and am wondering if it is possible to shorten the waiting time to discourage them from walking across the road in busy traffic. There doesn't appear to be a link to any traffic lights in the proximity. also, over the weekend, when there is much less traffic around, the waiting is very long too, maybe that could be reviewed as well? Thanks for your consideration, Christiaan de Haes
