Thick silt obstruction
Reported in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 10:18, Sun 6 October 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1794167.
I have just received your response that as there was no flooding you don't consider this is a problem. My complaint was to do with the thick black silt residue which is being left after heavy rain, obstructing the pavement and causing a dangerous slip hazard. Your engineer will have seen the problem very clearly as the silt has dried off. There must be a problem with the drain. This isn't about flooding, it's about the thick muddy residue which is a hazard to pedestrians.

Unfortunately although Drainline have attended, they have failed to clear the muddy silt away which is surprising as they must have tried to wash out the drain. This needs another visit to thoroughly clean the area or it has proved there is a problem as the water/silt has not washed away.
