Poor path maintenance on path running through the sheltered scheme nearly caused nasty fall of elderly resident

The resident of 2 Parkers Terrace reports that she nearly fell head over heels earlier this week when the wheel of her rollator became caught in the holes in the poorly maintained footpath running through the independent living scheme. She was quite shaken by the near accident and cross as she has been reporting the issue for 2 years now.

  • Thank you for you enquiry. This location has been inspected. There are currently no defects that meet the investigatory levels for repair. These levels have been agreed with Northamptonshire County Council. We will continue to monitor through our Highway Safety Inspections.
