Corner of Forfar Street and Harlestone Road Flooding
Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 16:48, Fri 11 October 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1801457.
This has been happening every time we get heavy rain, so about 4 times in the last 2 weeks lately, The rain floods down the Harlestone Road slope comes round the corner into Forfar street, the first drain becomes overwhelmed, and it then floods across to the other side, the drain in this side is really blocked and takes ages for the water to dissipate, this causes our front garden to fill with water almost up to our ventilation bricks, it also covers the footpath etc. last time the rain was really heavy, my car parked on Forfar street was half way up it's wheels in standing water and the height of this was just below our stone step, into our front door.. slightly worrying. I have video, but could only upload photos...
