Holly/Ivy bush overgrown onto pavement

The bush is overgrown and growing over the wall from the church and onto the pavement. People have to cross the road or duck under the bush to stay on the pavement. It just needs trimming back to provide safe pedestrian access.

  • AS you can see from the following photos, this bush is a hazard to pedestrians and needs cutting back to make the provided footpath accessible once again.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A letter has been sent to the relevant landowner requesting that the overhanging vegetation is cut back. The revisit will be carried out 30 days after the receipt of letter.

The revisit will be carried out 30 days after the receipt of letter. After further investigation this is the responsibility of Northampton Borough Council. This has been passed onto there asset management team. If you would like to contact them then please email streetcare@northampton.gov.uk
