Series of potholes and faded white lines/school zig zags

The Green is the main route into the school and village hall. The road surface and lining scheme are in poor repair. The road is partially used by pedestrians to approach/leave the school premises. This forms part of the NCC Safer Routes to School initiative.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Works have been instructed to replenish road markings and will be undertaken within the next year. We prioritise work based on safety and risk and need to prioritise to make the best of the resources available to us. On most occasions, we are completing defects sooner. Repairs to the carriageway will be undertaken within 26 weeks.
