Failed & Incomplete Repair
Reported in the Damaged/Loose category anonymously at 10:51, Fri 18 October 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 4 minutes later. ref: 1810191.
Incident No: 1785856 The above incident was raised however following workmen arriving on Monday the repair has not been completed and in fact has been made worse. The issue is the drop kerb (photo 1) which is damaged & still hasn’t been replaced rather the workmen have for some reason raised the whole of the kerb and have raised it so much that it now may damage cars entering our property. The workmen have totally missed the issue in that they have raised the opposite side to over 55mm from the road, the damaged drop kerb is at approximately 35mm so water will still run off the road onto our property. In addition the pavement (photos 2 &3) wasn’t even on the job list when you can quite clearly see that it has sunk still allowing water to run onto our property. This is incredibly frustrating and we reiterate that we have just spent >£20k renewing our driveway and any damage due to water ingress from these faults would be sought from the council. Please can this be given your urgent attention and I would like to be present when the surveyor visits. Kind regards Mr G McLean
