Large hole in grass caused by cars using drop kerb to park on grass

Reported in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 15:04, Wednesday 23 October 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 1 minute later. ref: 1816611.

This has been an ongoing issue for about two years. Neighbours have been using the dropped kerb outside our home to park on the grass verges outside their homes leaving the outside of ours looking unsightly. It’s the only area on the street that looks like this. It floods when it rains and muddy water flows across the dropped kerb on to our driveway.

  • I live at number 14 hove road, Rushden. Obviously the path outside my house is flooded etc and will be rectified within 28 days. I was just wondering how much it would cost to get a drop kerb put outside my house as number 12 has a dropped kerb and if I had one put in aswell it would save the flooding as noone would be able to park on the grass verge. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much
