Both drains are blocked
Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 19:30, Fri 25 October 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 5 minutes later. ref: 1819731.
I reported this twice last year before road works were done at bottom of elizabeth st and along cottingham rd and problem is still there. forestgate left onto cottingham road, drains both sides before safety railings start (and where kerb was dropped), are blocked and have been now for over a year. slightest bit of rain causes flooding both side and a huge puddle where kerb was dropped.

No work has been done on these drains yet, 8th March. Another person also registered this on October 25 2019 on ref 1929834. The problem is getting worse, we have both been quoted work to be done within 28 days and NOTHING IS BEING DONE

These drains are still blocked and no work done on them, April 8th, but was astonished to see that a new path was made on the opposite side of the road.RIGHT OPPOSITE THE BLOCKED DRAINS, and work is being done NOW in Coronation Park. Surely preventing road flooding is more important than a short cut path!

Thank you for your further comments. Apologies for the delay in updating our response and also if there has been any delay in carrying out the work ordered, which we will check on. We will continue to monitor the situation here although this will of course depend on the weather. Regarding a new path in Coronation Park, that would not be a highways matter so is not related to highway works or priorities. Sincere apologies again for any delays in resolving this matter. Finally, it would be helpful to have separate reports for any new occurrences as this best identifies recurring situations.
