Significant potholes and camber (due to road damage) along length of road between the water Tower and Sandy Lane
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 18:57, Sun 27 October 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1821356.
There are multiple potholes on the road heading form the water tower to Sandy land and the road surface is damaged and subsiding for significant distances - this leads to an adverse camber that pulls cars towards the verge. It also presents a problem for oncoming traffic (heading away from Northampton towards Nobottle) as cars heading towards northampton seek to avoid the damage and end up extremely close to if not straddling the central white line. Resurfacing of this section is needed to mitigate the risk of an incident, that would be higher still fro motorbikes given the camber situation.
