Cars leaving A43 losing control & hitting hedge

Reported in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category anonymously at 15:27, Mon 28 October 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 4 minutes later. ref: 1822531.

Car travelling south on A43, turning left onto lane (leads to Shutlanger) on Saturday, lost control on bend & ran into hedge/fence felling a tree (by road cone). This is the third time this has happened in last 2 years. The run off is short & bend sharp & as traffic on A43 travels fast it is obviously possible to enter bend too quickly. Would it be possible to install a reflective chevron type sign board to improve warning to drivers? As it is off the running highway I presume any remedy would rest with the Council.
