Damaged by reversing lorry

Reported in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category anonymously at 21:21, Saturday 2 November 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 4 minutes later. ref: 1829239.

I witnessed a lorry reversing over the central reservation at approximately 0750 on 01/11/19 knocking over the 40mpg sign in the process with complete disregard. The driver failed to stop and continued to reverse across to block oncoming traffic on the opposite side of the road. The registration number of the vehicle was J10 UKT. It was a red lorry that was reversing to go into UK Timber, having approached the entrance to BOC Gas next door by mistake. The driver didn't stop, despite being made aware of the issue taking place. No photos available as I was driving at the time and was stopped as the driver of the lorry crossed the central reservation.
