The pelican crossing barriers badly damaged at traffic lights at NGH South Entrance.
Reported in the Crash Barriers - Damaged / Missing category anonymously at 13:57, Mon 4 November 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 5 minutes later. ref: 1831165.
These barriers have been damaged several times in the last couple of years. After damage in the summer they were not repaired. Further damage in the last few days means the barriers offer no protection to pedestrians. In fact they are a hazard. As I use the crossing daily, I do not feel safe crossing the road waiting on the island. Children also use the crossing. Please repair as soon as possible. Please investigate why vehicles are crashing into the barriers here and also the ones at the bottom of Cliftonville Road which are damaged.
