The footpath at the end of Ridgeway near to Wrston Way is an extremely severe trip hazard to pedestrians.
Reported in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 16:59, Wed 6 November 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 2 minutes later. ref: 1834824.
There are a number of slabs on this footpath that are raised and also rocking / see sawing when walked upon. Great care is needed to avoid the pronounced areas of slabs. This issue has already been raised but nothing appears to be happening to address the problem. This area in darkness is extremely dangerous as one cannot see the raised areas. The likelihood of a pedestrian falling here is extremely high and is an accident waiting to happen. The footpath is a main thoroughfare from Ridgeway to Weston way, can someone come out to observe the issues raised and set in place its rectification before an accident happens. The slabs are outside the thatched white faced cottage on the corner of Ridgeway and Weston Way , with the slabs being on the left hand side path of the road leading towards Ridgeway .
