  • Driving from Quinton towards Blisworth on Courteenhall Road Thursday 9th Jan at 07:10 in the dark, raining heavily and unlit road just as I passed under the M1 Motorway Bridge and the intersection with a private drive that runs parallel to the southbound motorway carriageway there are 3 deep potholes that I could not avoid as a vehicle was coming in the opposite direction from Blisworth. The impact was so severe I thought I’d hit a large dog/deer. My alloy wheel now has a 100mm flat spot from the impact. The depth of the pothole was 110mm deep (like hitting a kerb at 40mph +) if I had been in my motorbike I’d dread to think of what could of happened.
