Flooded road!!!! it wont let me select FLOOD it tells me to call which I am not your not answering!!

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Lucia Powell at 13:00, Thursday 14 November 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 6 minutes later. ref: 1846226.

Corby Road into Gretton is flooded on a blind corner. You are already aware of this and put a sign up to close the road which has been moved to the side. This flood is getting worse and it is very dangerous. This needs to be dealt with ASAP properly rather than just pop a sign up which somebody then moves. The people of Gretton will be flooded in the village soon as the road out towards Rockingham Village is also starting to flood now.

I have been on hold to your street doctor now for over 20 minutes waiting to speak to someone.

Please as a matter of urgency get this road closed or do something before someone gets hurt.

  • This road is seriously flooded, having a dangerous effect for those living in Gretton, it has been like this for a couple of weeks, when is this being sorted out please, the rain is not going to stop anytime soon, I have never seen it this bad, and when the temperatures fall, this could become life threatening.

  • This road is becoming scary to drive along as cars are having to drive in the middle of the road on a blind bend. This will surely cause an accident sooner or later. Seemed to be sorted last week but has got bad again. Can we have a solution that will fix this in the long term for the residents of gretton.
