Blocked Drain Opposite 7a Ashley Road Causing Flood Water on the Highway

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1846418.

Issues with the drain being blocked - with the rainfall it is now causing flooding on the road. The flood water isn't covering the whole road surface, it is more of a large puddle covering the drain which is flowing down to the bus stop. It goes from the drain to the white line in the road, not reaching the other side of the curb. Worried about if the rain continues it might rise above the curb and run towards the property.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. The drainage issue has been logged and will be addressed as part of our routine cleansing programme. We are currently working on the programme and this issue will be rectified by the end of march 2020.
