Kerb broken and metal work exposed

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1853285.

Continual issue with kerb breaking and exposing metal drain (which doesn't work). This has caused a tire puncture previously.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately the rainwater channel is actually the responsibility of the homeowner to clean (rather than the local authority) as this is not part of the public highway. Our public highways are inspected regularly and the roadside drains will be cleaned as part of the Northamptonshire Highways routine roadside gully cleansing programme.
