Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1853448.
There is a large pothole 400 mm dia and 70 mm deep on the Kettering Road eastbound entrance to the Kettering Road / A6116 roundabout near Islip. There is a second smaller pothole near the larger one which is going to 'join' the main pothole. The potholes are on the wheel track as you drive towards Islip. This is a busy junction with a large number of HGV's going to Primark.

This pothole has been repaired so many times, why are such inadequate materials used? Two potholes nearly becoming one, very dangerous as have to swerve out to miss them. Disgraceful.

This pothole is getting larger and is without doubt being made worse by the fixed rear axles on HGV trailers which skid sideways pushing at the edges of these potholes or even the repairs. Surely the answer is to either make the roundabout larger or resurface the whole area to bind the whole surface together?
