Blocked drain culvert causing flooding
Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 08:51, Wed 20 November 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 5 minutes later. ref: 1854155.
The blocked drain overfilled on the 15/11/19 causing extreme flooded, I called the council to report it and have it addressed. I received an email yesterday State changed to: No further action- Northamptonshire County Council. That isn't acceptable, if we have more rain it will over flow again and flood my house - can it please unblocked. Dealing with it by August 2020 isnt really the best option as stated in the email.

Damage appears to be off highway possibly as a result of building works still under investigation.

There has been additional flooding since the first report. Every time there has been heavy rain the culvert gets full and overflows on my property area. I can confirm there is no building works taking place. The culvert is blocked and not allowing sufficient water drainage hence the flooding. It needs unblocking. so the water can flow under the concrete rather than over it.

I went to let my dogs out and as you can see the culvert has filled up with the heavy rain we have had and over filled thus, flooding the enter area around my home and my garden. I cant leave my house as it is all under water. I would greatly apricate this being looked into a a matter of urgency as this is the 4th time this has happened and no action from the council has been noticed.
