This pothole is now bigger than my desk!!
It is almost the width of the east bound lane and there is no way to avoid it.
Th top layer or tarmac is completely missing leaving hole about 2 inches deep.
It is getting worse everyday and is likely to cause damage to vehicles who have no to avoid the hole.

I reported this on Friday 22nd and 1 week on this is still being investigated? Are you waiting for this to cause damage to a vehicle or worse cause a serious crash and injury. This road is used by heavy vehicle daily and will only get worse with the cold weather, so please fill ASAP

Bedford Borough Council claim to addressing bad pot holes within 2 days - why does it take you 6 months? I’ve already raised the issue of a children’s day nursery being close by and the fact that cars are moving to the other side of the road to avoid the massive pothole. At the worst why can’t a temporary fill happen till it’s done properly!

Any news on these repairs yet as it won’t be long and instead of repairing a massive pot hole, it will become a sinkhole! Why can’t you do a temporary fill, till permanent work carried out?
