Sunken drain near to the middle of the road, caused my tyre to blow.

Reported in the Loose / Raised/Sunken category anonymously at 09:58, Sat 23 November 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 2 minutes later. ref: 1858519.

As you travel south on the A5 from Towcester on the long bend/hill prior to Pury Road turning there is a sunken drain close to the white lines in the middle of the road the drain cover has sunk. I hit it at approximately 50 mph and it blew my tyre which has cost me £110 to replace. Firstly it is very dangerous. Secondly, I would like to claim for the damage to my tyre please.
