Large puddle caused by subsidence of old excavation and no drainage
Reported in the Damaged/Loose category anonymously at 10:14, Wed 27 November 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 2 minutes later. ref: 1864250.
This problem, outside 7 Marston Road Greatworth OX17 2EA has persisted for at least five years there is no gutter or drain, exacerbated by vehicles driving on the grass verge whilst making deliveries and the unusually high rainfall. Caused initially, it is believed by the surface of the patch covering an excavation across the road having subsided. The problem of avoiding mud and filth being brought into the house was ameliorated by the addition of gravel next to the verge in front of the gate to the property but this is no longer effective.
