Blocked during heavy rainfall

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 3 minutes later. ref: 1864760.

Drain right at the very bottom of Porlock Close. This drain does not clear when the rainfall is quite heavy. It creates quite a big puddle of water. Last year I witnessed some builders pouring wet cement down this drain to dispose of it. This could be the problem?

  • Thank you for your enquiry. The area has been inspected and a highways works order has been raised as a matter of urgency, with the repair expected to be undertaken within the next 2 hours.
