The traffic lights aren’t working properly.
Reported in the Signal Failure category anonymously at 09:13, Fri 29 November 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 2 minutes later. ref: 1867515.
The lights stay on red light for 10 minutes when the junction is clear, this happens at night time as well as during the day. This morning the Cranford Rd lights were barely letting 2 cars out and were immediately going back to red. This is happening regularly, 3 or 4 times during my week at different times of the day. Some other drivers cross the red light in fury even during the busiest times, I am amazed that there haven’t been accidents. I know the whole traffic system is complicated by the roadworks there on Barton Rd but it is a worry for me as my daughter walks home from school, especially in these early dark nights when there is reduced visibility.
