Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 19:30, Sun 1 December 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 5 minutes later. ref: 1870294.

Drove through the layby last Sunday. Parked lorry on the left and whole layby covered with water. Hit a pothole on the right that was so deep the bottom of my engine hit the road surface. Layby needs drains unblocking or drains installed and the potholes filled in

  • I went through this lay bye on tuesday 11 dec 19. As it was dark I didnt notice the flooding until I entered and decided against stopping. As I got towards the exit my car hit what must be a huge pothole as the right hand side of my car dropped causing the underside to hit the road. My car is now in the garage having the necessary repairs and I will be looking to claim.
