Approx 2 foot pothole in road on the driving line

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 09:42, Mon 2 December 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 4 minutes later. ref: 1870787.

Not sure how long this pothole has been there, my girlfriend drove through it last night 01.12.2019. Pothole is on the Cotterstock road, not too far from the junction of the woodnewton road. Pothole is approx 1.5 foot from verge, easily driven through if not aware of it. Cotterstock road does have a number of issues

  • I have this morning dipped this pot hole at 128 mm at its maximum depth. This would suggest that in places the surface and binder course has failed. The base course, if any, may also have failed. Please see the attached drawings to give you scale of the pot hole size - the spirit level is 1m long
