SIngle carriage on Abington Square
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 16:07, Tue 3 December 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 3 minutes later. ref: 1873283.
There is a massive problem with the amount of traffic congestion on Abington square. There is currently as issue with exit from St Michaels car park (which has been reported) meaning that all traffic is forced to exit onto Abington Square. There are cones reducing the traffic to single file just before the turning left to go up the Kettering rd, unfortunately these cones are not set far enough back (they really need to be just pass the bus stop) resulting in some very dangerous driving. I have seen cars mounting the pavement in order to get further up the road and it is only a matter of time before there is an accident. There is added frustration with the roadworks deadline now moving into Jan 2020 (a delay of many weeks from the original date of Nov 2019)
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.
