Lots of vehicles park on the grass verge turned into a mud bath now. Now there is a horse box parked there regularly

It’s been an ongoing problem for years. Cars parked all over the grass verge. They have turned it into a mud bath. Now a horse box is parked quite regularly on the grass verge making it awkward for other vehicles. To get up and down the road and exit and entering the driveway.
This area needs a fence or barrier all the way round to preserve the area and stop making it look like an eye-saw.
The neighbours have been asking for years and now it has become beyond a joke and something needs done.

Currently we do not install posts or barriers to prevent verge parking, as verge parking is not illegal. A site visit has been made and the damage noted. No vehicles of any kind were parked at the time but it is evident that parking does happen. I am sorry we cannot offer a more positive response but we will monitor the situation with a view to reinstating the verge when the weather improves and the repair might have some chance of taking hold.
