Burst water main on the Wilby side of the A509 Roundabout near Sainsbury’s.
Reported in the Flooding category by Northamptonshire County Council at 13:13, Thu 5 December 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 3 minutes later. ref: 1876016.
Not sure who else to contact, I have contacted the Highways agency and I have contacted Anglian Water(who said it’s not their water main not their problem), but there is a burst water main on the Wilby side of the A509 Roundabout near Sainsbury’s. IT has Been gushing water now for over 2 weeks, this is spewing water down the road (from a drain) onto the roundabout, last week this caused a blanket of Ice on the roundabout making pulling away onto the roundabout lethal. Again this morning with the drop in temperature there was more Ice all over the road. Please can something be done about this before there is an serious Accident. I myself as a motorcycle rider had a “wheel spinning” moment with an Articulated lorry barrelling towards be because there was no traction on the road.
