My tyre and wheel are damaged following an incident at 18.00hrs on 17.12.19 and I will be taking action to recover the cost of repairs. As stated by a previous complainant this pothole is impossible to avoid with oncoming traffic and more so in foggy and dark conditions. This photo was taken the morning after the incident as it too dark and dangerous to stand and take a photo at the time of the incident. It is imperative that remedial work be undertaken as a matter of urgency.

Tuesday 17th December 520pm it's was dark and very foggy. I hit this pothole I was traveling slowly because of poor his ability. It's was impossible to see or avoid this pothole due to for and oncoming traffic. This is the 4th tyre in 2 years I have had to replace due to the terrible Northamptonshire roads these are brand new winter tyres. I didn't push the claim once it was rejected but this time my car has now been left requiring a new wheel and tyre. So I'll be claiming this time

Monday 16th December 2019, 12.45pm. Instant puncture and flat tyre, AA had to come and recover me. Really dangerous part of the road. No warning signs, prior to the potholes, impossible to avoid without causing a collision or damaging your car.

Unfortunately I have accidentally deleted the photo of the damaged tyre due to the pothole at the top of the Ridgeway just before the junction with the A361.
It was dark around 5pm , had just left Coffee Classics at Braunston heading back to Leicester. Was slowing down at the top of The Ridgeway when I had this almighty bang front left , within a minute my tyre pressure monitoring system alerted me to a low pressure tyre. I had to stop as it was difficult drive with a flat nearside front tyre. Managed to get some air into the tyre and limp to Rugby truckstop. Called the AA as dont have a spare and the getyouhome kit did not do the job as the tyre wall split was massive. The AA got me home and I had to call a mobile tyre fitter to come and fit a new tyre at just over £100. It was impossible to see the pothole even with my headlights on.
