Thank you for your correspondence to Northamptonshire County Council’s Street Doctor service. In order for parking restrictions to be considered please visit the County Councils website using the following link https://www3.northamptonshire.gov.uk/ councilservices/ northamptonshire-highways/ parking/ Pages/ request-for-new-parking-restrictions.aspx to submit an application. As this area is public highway a legal process has to be followed before parking restrictions can be implemented. In the short term, Northamptonshire Police can enforce if there is an obstruction on the highway where it is deemed not possible for a driver to safely manoeuvre, pedestrians to pass unhindered along the footway or that access to a public or private property is impeded. Any concerns can be reported via the local Safer Communities Team by calling the non-emergency telephone number 101. Please email parkingenquiries@kierwsp.co.uk if you require further information or assistance with submitting an application.
