Road surface has broken up

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 15:23, Mon 9 December 2019

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 3 minutes later. ref: 1880920.

In the left hand lane (when you are travelling towards Wicksteed Park/Kettering) the road surface has broken up into several large and deep potholes causing vehicles to swerve into the opposite lane to avoid them or slow right down to avoid damage to their cars. This issue was reported this morning (reference number 1880000) and the response was: "Thank you for your enquiry. site visited, defects do not currently meet Ncc investigation levels Will continue to monitor through highway safety inspections." I find this quite astonishing due to the safety implications that are involved here, I can only assume that the inspection team did not go to the right location, the green marker is just an indication of location. If you proceed past Barton Hall (on your right hand side) then the you are confronted with the damage just after the bus stop, it really cannot be missed. Please can you provide a further update. Thanks.
