Reported in the Request Timing Review category by Paul langley at 18:09, Mon 9 December 2019
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council 1 minute later. ref: 1881215.
I sat at this junction through 5 changes of lights in a 100m queue. The right hand filter didn’t come on once despite cars waiting past the filter line.

Thank you for contacting Northamptonshire Highways. We are aware of an intermittent problem with the operation of the arrow. A temporary fix was implemented on Tuesday and we have been monitoring the junction via CCTV throughout the morning and evening peak periods and can confirm the arrow was operational and appearing when required. A permanent software fix has been implemented Thursday afternoon and we monitored the junction between 14:00 and 18:00 and can confirm the arrow was operational. The arrow will only appear once there are a group of vehicles waiting to turn and will not appear if there are only 1 or 2 cars as drivers are expected to complete the turn once the signals change provided they are positioned to turn in the centre of the junction. Our traffic control centre operators will continue to monitor the junction via CCTV over the coming weeks to ensure there a are no further issues.
