Slow down for horses signs

I am the owner/occupier of Granary Barn, Heathencote. I keep my own horses and my daughter's horse at home. I ride every day two of my horses and hack from my home to the nearest bridleway which is on the Easton Neston Estate one mile away down the Shutlanger road which takes me past the back entrance of Towcester racecourse. During the last few days I have encountered lots more traffic than usual now that Winterland is in full swing. My horses are all extremely good in traffic and are not bothered by large vehicles as long as the drivers slow down and pass wide. However with the new traffic there seem to be drivers who are not used to seeing horses on the roads and I have had some very close shaves this weekend just gone. I had a transit van type people carrier drive so close behind me coming up the hill back into Shutlanger that had I stopped on my horse it would have surely hit us. Car drivers overtake far too close and too fast and if a pheasant or something in the hedge startled my horse we would be hit by a car. I do understand that this is only a temporary situation but I cannot stop riding my horses for another 6 weeks while Winterland is open. Please may I ask that the owners are made to place warning signs asking motorists to beware and to slow down for horses from the A5 turning into Heathencote and one mile down the Shutlanger Road at intervals. I do not feel this is much to ask considering the noise pollution that we have to put up with since Winterland has opened, it’s like living next to a funfair.
